Most businesses need to expand to new premises at some point in their life, and this can be a challenge to manage seamlessly. An existing IT infrastructure will have amassed many connections over the years, to both the outside world and to the internal systems. Without perfect documentation to support them, it is entirely possible to overlook a little-used or hidden connection, but which nevertheless will have unfortunate consequences. I can provide a complete service to document the existing site, auditing all connections and systems using them, and produce maps showing the layout of the entire infrastructure. Using these maps, I can audit the entire corporate IT strategy, and ensure that it is correctly packaged, with relevant safeguards in case of damage or loss en-route. When the equipment arrives at the new site, I can reconnect these systems, taking advantage if desired of new facilities such as wireless connectivity.

Such safeguards include full backups of software and optionally insurance for hardware, so that restoration of all required facilities is straightforward.
